What is qr.paps.jp?

qr.paps.jp is a free short URL & QR code generator operated by PAPS, a Japanese NPO. Enter any URL and receive a shortened URL together with two QR codes (one for the original URL, one for the short URL). No account, no signup, no rate limit for normal use.

Features

• Free and no signup — just paste a URL and press Create.
• Two QR codes at once — download PNGs for either the original or the shortened URL.
• Automatic phishing / malware check — every created URL is verified against Google Safe Browsing v4; if flagged, the short URL is disabled automatically.
• Sensitive-domain warning — links pointing at adult / sensitive domains show a warning interstitial before redirecting.
• Access reports — the creator can view daily / hourly / weekly traffic at /report/<key>.
• Operated by a Japanese NPO — PAPS, supporting survivors of digital sexual exploitation.

How to use

1. Paste your long URL into the form above.
2. Press Create. A short URL and two QR codes will appear.
3. Copy the short URL for sharing, or download the QR code image for printing.

The result screen is displayed in Japanese, but the QR image and the copyable short URL are language-independent.
